A warm welcome from
The Greyhound Botesdale
10 May 2021 – Outside Seating Open. Pub re-opens inside 17th May.
The Greyhound has stood in the heart of the village of Botesdale since the 1400s when it was used as a coaching Inn and through the years has been a focus of community life.
Since 2004 the pub has been owned by Chris and Mori-Fi Burnard who have continued to evolve it to make the Greyhound an interesting and welcoming pub serving a range of local ales, over 20 premium gins, craft lager and authentic homemade pizza from the wood fired pizza oven.
*** OUTSIDE SEATING NOW OPEN! ***

(scroll down for buttons below).
See below for our menu or download a copy HERE.
We serve pizzas from Tuesday to Saturday with ordering from 4pm to 9pm. Please note that orders can only be placed between these times and we can only accept orders via our App or online, so please do not phone. Payment is made in advance via the App only please – to minimise contact.
When you place your order, you will receive a message letting you know approximately how long it will be until your order is ready for collection. Please note that at very busy times your order may not be accepted straight away and might be rejected. Our pizzas are quality pizzas and we monitor our order volumes carefully. We work roughly to a 45 minute order-to-collection time – subject to orders. If your order is not accepted on the first try, please try again with a later timing. Please do bear with us and be patient when ordering for delivery as we cook all our pizzas fresh to order. We are therefore not able to provide an instant service.
There is a 50p transaction fee on all orders which is paid to the online service provider.
Please click below to download our App or to order online.
We are all really looking forward to welcoming you back inside at The Greyhound as soon as we can. And in the meantime, we hope that you’ll continue to enjoy our sensational wood-fired pizzas to takeaway.

Takeaway service times – Tuesday to Saturday 4-9pm
Welcome to Botesdale’s best pizza takeaway, right here in the pub – The Greyhound to go if you will. Here’s everything you need to know about ordering pizza from us here at The Greyhound Botesdale.
Are you open during at the moment?
Yes, we are!
When do you serve takeaway at The Greyhound Botesdale?
We are serving takeaway pizzas from Tuesdays – Saturdays each week.
Our orders open online at 4pm on each serving day.
Where can I see the takeaway menu?
Our takeaway menu is more or less the same as our eat-in menu but with a few exceptions. You can enjoy all our House Pizzas, like our Meaty Italiano and our Quattro, or you can build-your-own pizza using our extensive list of toppings. Of course, we welcome Vegan and Gluten-Free customers. See here for our MENU.
How do I order takeaway from The Greyhound Botesdale?
All our ordering is online via our website or our Android or Apple apps, via the links on our homepage. Please note that we can only take orders when we are open, which is from 4pm – 9pm on serving nights. We can only take orders for that same night, except in special circumstances (in which case please email us).
Each and every one of our pizzas is made from scratch and cooked to perfection, so we might take a little longer than some pizza places to prepare your order, but it will be worth the wait.
All our House Pizzas are listed on the order form and you will be able to select from a standard, vegan or gluten free pizza base, together with our full range of toppings.
When you check out, you’ll be asked for your collection time (our default serving time is 45 minutes from your order being accepted). You’ll also be asked for any special notes.
What happens when I place my order?
When you place your order, it arrives on the screen in our kitchen where we check the details and accept or reject it.
My order has been rejected – what does this mean?
At busy times, your order may be “rejected” on the first attempt. We won’t compromise on the quality of our pizzas so if our oven and kitchen is busy with other booked orders then we may not be able to accept yours at your desired time.
If you can be a little bit flexible and re-try your order with a different collection time, then we are almost always able to accept your offer on the second try. When you order, please keep an eye on your email in case we need to contact you.
Do you deliver pizzas?
At this time, we can only offer collection only, we do not deliver. Collection is from the rear door of the pub. We have rigorous covid-19 cleaning regimes and procedures to keep us all safe.
We always really appreciate your custom so if there is ever a problem, please let us know. And if you have really enjoyed your Greyhound experience, please leave a review on TripAdvisor.
