Leaseholder Jon Pasque and Head Chef Conor Fairbrother are part of a young, enthusiastic team striving to create the ideal village pub experience. The food does not claim to be that of major city restaurants. Instead it is homemade, good quality warming food.

In 2012 a major refurbishment program was completed at The Greyhound with an outstanding extension added, providing a pool room with vaulted ceiling and French doors opening onto the patio.  Along with a new kitchen and refurbishment of the lounge bar The Greyhound has become the first choice for people wanting quality traditional food, in a smart pub with a welcoming atmosphere.

Opening times:

Monday-Friday: open 5pm – 11pm (Food service 5.30-9pm Tue to Sat)
Saturday+Sunday: 12noon – 11pm.  Food service is stew and dumplings with homemade bread from 12noon-3. (Saturday from 5.30pm resumes normal menu)

Last Thursday in the month is our ‘all you can eat curry night’ 2 meat and 1 vegetarian, homemade curry’s served with chips rice and poppadum’s plus a free ice cream sundae for just £10 adults, £6 children. followed by our monthly buskers night.untitled
